Interwoven is the story of Eimann, a bright young woman in a strict traditional immigrant Muslim family in upstate New York, who defies her father’s wishes to pursue college and a future of her own choosing. When she becomes pregnant, she must hide it to protect her family honor, ultimately choosing open adoption.
At their lowest point, Sarah and James match with Eimann. To keep her secret safe until the birth, Eimann moves into their home. What begins as a practical arrangement quickly descends into delightful chaos when James’s eccentric family descends to “help,” turning their household upside down.
